After years of feeling uneasy about multimodal writing and composition, it has grown into a passion of mine. I truly enjoy opening an Adobe Creative Suite application to a blank page, pondering which font and color pairings would best support my chunk(s) of text. My time as a PWR major has allowed me to discover the value of visual rhetoric, which allows for the expression of such fonts, colors, and layout to compliment textual elements. I’ve selected pieces composed within PWR coursework and two off-site internships that encouraged experimentation, flexibility, and audience adaptation in order for successful multimodality.
